During the week of the 2nd of December, PRISM EuroQCI, a project co-funded by the European Union, organized the PRISM Quantum Week in the University of Malta, where leaders in quantum communication gathered to explore advancements in this cutting-edge sector.
The week, happening in parallel with a closed ETSI meeting, featured an Open Forum Day of free entrance packed with inspiring talks, expert insights, and cutting-edge demonstrations from some of the biggest names in quantum communications. A unique opportunity for collaboration and to showcase the innovation and progress towards Europe’s quantum-secure future.
As part of the talks, the Head of Software of QUARTER’s lead company, LuxQuanta, gave a talk presenting the company’s advancements and its relationship with the QUARTER project. Marco highlighted the project’s relevance and how it’s advancing, particularly with LuxQuanta technology development.
In addition, the Open Forum also featured keynotes from policymakers, technical experts, and quantum pioneers, panel discussions exploring the future of cybersecurity and quantum deployment and national updates on EuroQCI projects.
