On the 27th of November, the 5th Cagliari Digital Lab Quantum Community hosted a series of talks on Quantum Communications. Organized by the CRS4 research institute, the sessions were part of the CTE Cagliari DLAB project.
As part of the event, LuxQuanta’s Head of Software, Dr. Marco Cofano, delivered a talk in Italian on Quantum Cryptography. His presentation focused on the applications of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) in smart cities and existing urban networks.
As shown in the accompanying image, Dr. Cofano also emphasized the importance of European support in initiatives such as the QUARTER project. This backing is crucial for advancing the current level of technology development and driving the future of digital communications.
