Disseminating QUARTER to Attract New Talent at ENEF 2024

QUARTER members LuxQuanta and Quside showcased their cutting-edge work at the ENEF24 National Student Event, inspiring the next generation of talent to explore careers in quantum technology and innovation.

As part of the commitment of the QUARTER Project and its consortium members, representatives from Quside and LuxQuanta supported and attended the 2nd National Meeting of Physics Students (Encuentro Nacional de Estudiantes de FísicaENEF). This collaboration highlights the ongoing dedication to engaging with the next generation of physicists and innovators in the quantum field.

ENEF24: A Hub for Physics Research, Industry, and Networking

Hosted at the University of Granada, ENEF24 spanned five days, featuring a packed agenda of Physics talks focused on research, industry trends, and dissemination activities. The event also included networking sessions, lab visits, and a dedicated exhibition space for companies to showcase their latest innovations. This setup provided students with a firsthand look at the cutting-edge advancements shaping the industry today.

LuxQuanta and Quside Represent QUARTER at ENEF24

Representatives from LuxQuanta and Quside presented their companies, highlighting their efforts under the QUARTER Project. They shared insights about the EuroQCI initiatives, including the deployment of QKD links and advancements in quantum technology. These presentations captivated the students, sparking interest in the exciting developments within the quantum sector.


Many students approached LuxQuanta and Quside representatives to learn more about career opportunities in quantum technologies. These interactions introduced them to a wealth of possibilities, helping them explore new career paths and opportunities to contribute to the future of quantum innovation.

Beyond advancing QKD and related technologies for the EuroQCI, QUARTER is committed to stimulate a thriving quantum ecosystem. This includes outreach efforts to engage young talent, build a skilled workforce, and address the sector’s growing demand for expertise. These initiatives aim to ensure a smoother adoption of quantum technologies and support the sustainable growth of the industry.
