QUARTER Technology Validated in Cloud Infrastructure: LuxQuanta Integrates CV-QKD with AWS
The QUARTER consortium continues to demonstrate the industrial maturity and development of its quantum cryptography solutions. In a significant step for the deployment of the EuroQCI, consortium partner LuxQuanta has successfully integrated its Continuous Variable Quantum Key Distribution (CV-QKD) systems with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
Hospitals in Madrid Protected with Quantum-Secure Communication Devices Developed in QUARTER
QUARTER has laid the scientific and technological foundations for the Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems that now secure two hospitals in Madrid through a pioneering proof-of-concept deployment. As healthcare systems become increasingly digital, protecting medical...
[Paper Explained] Continuous Variable QKD Coexists with Classical Data in the C-Band
CV-QKD transmits quantum signals using coherent states, which are detected by the receiver through coherent detectors, similar to those commonly used in classical telecommunications. In this study, we evaluate its ability to coexist with classical data signals over the same optical fiber.
[Paper Explained] Savitzky-Golay Filter-Based Phase Recovery for CV-QKD
[Research Paper] Work of QUARTER Lead, LuxQuanta, accepted at the prestigious OFC Conference, studies the efficacy of the Savitzky-Golay Filter in reducing Phase Noise in CV-QKD. The results are promising in increasing maximum achievable distances.
